Marathon® leads the pack as insect control tool

Judo™ offers additional control of mites, whiteflies

As we head into the summer and fall season, we know it’s just a matter of time before troublesome pests rear their ugly heads. We have just the solution for aphids, whiteflies, or other sucking pests on crops such as poinsettias and mums. Now in its 14th season,Marathon Insecticide continues to be the cornerstone of many insect control programs for US growers. With active ingredient imidacloprid,Marathon offers long-term residual control that is unparalleled in the production ornamentals market. Growers expect the long window of control and have learned to bracket Marathon applications with sprays before or after to control hot spots.

Judo™ Miticide/Insecticide can be used on poinsettias before or after a Marathon application for effective control of all life cycle stages of mites and whiteflies. Both Judo and Marathon are color-safe on poinsettias. Marathon is available in three formulations – a 1% granular, 60 WP in water soluble packaging, and the liquid Marathon II product. OHP is continuing to expand the Marathon brand and will launch new imidacloprid formulations in the near future.
