OHP plans first quarter FenStop™ launch

We are excited to introduce a new member of our “Fungicide Family” during the 1st quarter of 2007.

FenStop Fungicide - OHP, Inc.OHP, Inc. is scheduled to introduce FenStop Fungicide sometime in the February-March 2007* time frame. We have been granted federal registration for the pythium, phythophthora, aerial phythophthora, and downy mildew product and are proceeding through the state registration process (check with your local state regulatory agency for FenStop registration status). FenStop, with active ingredient fenamidone, is from a new class of chemistry, the imidazolinone class. That's great news as FenStop represents another option for a growers' disease control program.

FenStop is particularly active on downy mildew and is another rotational material in the battle against the expanding disease. Growers under intense downy mildew pressure should consider other products at 7-14 day intervals.

FenStop, as a spray or drench, is both systemic and translaminar. Growers may use FenStop once every 28 days in the greenhouse. Use rates range from 7-14 fl. oz . per 100 gal. of water.

The product is packaged in quart containers and carries a 12-hour Restricted Entry Interval (REI). FenStop has the same mode of action as
Compass™O and other strobilurins and should not be rotated with those products. For more information on FenStop, contact your local OHP representative.

*Pending state approvals
